Yearling Ewe ~ Substitute Prairie Rose 863 "Electra" QR/NN Sire: "Great Divide", Luxford 1131A Dam: Prairie Rose 511 This ewe is a substitute for Prairie Rose 853. I didn't intend to bring this ewe when entries were first due because I wanted to keep her for myself. She is right out of our keeper pen. "Electra" is a very bold ewe that combines classic Suffolk beauty with a nice titch of elegance. She brings volume to the table as well which will enable her to perform as a breeder in the lambing barn long after her show career is over. Her sire, "Great Divide", has a proven track record for producing high quality progeny. Her dam, Prairie Rose 511 comes from a female line of very large ewes and it is rare for me to let one of them leave the ranch but...we also like to bring good ones, so here she is. More than likely, she will be one of the last "Great Divide" daughters that we sell as her sire is getting old and I will continue to keep what daughters he produces in the future.

SHE, TOO, WAS SOLD JUST BEFORE LEAVING FOR RENO BUT TO A DIFFERENT BREEDER AND INTO ANOTHER SHOW STRING, ALONG WITH 2 OTHER YEARLING EWES, 2 EWE LAMBS, AND 1 OUTSTANDING STUD BUCK. WE WISH ALL THE BEST TO THESE BUYERS AND BEST OF LUCK DURING THE SHOW SEASON! Yearling Ewe ~ Substitution "Wine and Dine", Prairie Rose 852A Sire: "LAWMAN", Pleasant Valley 1145 RR Dam: Prairie Rose 667 Originally intended for another show later than Reno, we are toying with the idea of bringing this flashy ewe to the Nugget show for fun. She is sired by "LAWMAN" and dammed by Prairie Rose 667, the full sister to one of our show bucks from a couple of years ago. She's a pretty ewe with style, pattern and eye appeal. We think she'll be alot of fun to show. She's in very short fleece right now which really shouldn't hurt this gal but we want to make sure she looks her ultimate best if she were to make Reno.
